Peripheral nerves are complex and fascinating in function and anatomy. Nerve compression and injury is not only common in the upper extremity, but also in the lower extremity. Surgical intervention is often necessary to reduce symptoms. The variety in neuropathies, pathologies and treatments, makes nerve surgery interesting, but hard to master.
This advanced hands-on dissection course is designed to provide theoretical and practical information needed to treat nerve decompression, nerve injuries and neuromas. The program consists of lectures, live demonstrations and dissections led by international experts in the field. The practical sessions will be performed on fresh frozen cadavers with two participants per extremity.

Your ticket gives access to both course days, including breakfast and lunch on both days, and the course dinner on the evening of the first day.
Is the course accredited?
Yes. Accreditation has been arranged for Dutch specialists through the NVPC (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Plastische Chirurgie), NVvH (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Heelkunde), NVvN (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Neurochirurgie) and NOV (Nederlandse Orthopaedische Vereniging).
Can I cancel my ticket?
Up to one week before the course you can cancel your ticket with a full refund. After that, you receive a 50% refund, or you can use your ticket for next year’s course.
Who is the course for?
Surgeons with a particular interest in nerve surgery from various specialties, including neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons, trauma surgeons, vascular surgeons and orthopedic surgeons, as well as fellows and residents.
